St. Lucy Parishioners –
Back in 2017 we began our Capital Campaign to make improvements to our church Lighting, the remodel of St. Lucy School bathrooms, and our church restrooms. I would first like to thank all of you who gave from your hearts to help us achieve these goals. We simply could not have achieved them without your help. As you may know, the rebate we received from ADA 2022 was raised with the intention to complete this project. Even so, we have struggled to gain enough funds to start and finish our church restrooms as planned. I am much obliged to all you who persevered, and thanks be to God for your generosity, we now have enough funds to complete the remodeling of our church restrooms!
Please know that we will begin remodeling the church restroom on Wednesday, July 5 with an eye towards completing the project by fall. Asbestos remediation will be taking place in the bathroom areas initially, just as we had completed asbestos remediation in our main church. Our contractors will seal the affected areas to ensure safety and to keep parishioners from any harm during this process. Entrances at the front of the church will remain open during construction.
At this time, we ask that you use the bathrooms in the PAC when necessary. We are excited about finally making improvements to our restrooms, and even while remodeling is inconvenient it brings changes. In the coming weeks, look for renderings in and around the church and website, these renderings depict the layout of our restrooms. We will kept you all posted. Thank you all once again for your faith, contributions, and efforts in continuing to improve our beautiful worship space.

En 2017 comenzamos nuestra Campaña Capital para realizar mejoras en la iluminación de nuestra iglesia, la remodelación de los baños de la escuela y los baños de nuestra iglesia. En primer lugar, me gustaría agradecer a todos los que dieron de su corazón para ayudarnos a lograr estos objetivos. Simplemente no podríamos haberlos logrado sin su ayuda. Como sabrán, el reembolso que recibimos de ADA 2022 se planteó con la intención de completar este proyecto. Aun así, hemos luchado para obtener suficientes fondos para comenzar y terminar los baños de nuestra iglesia según lo planeado. Estoy muy agradecido a todos ustedes que perseveraron, y gracias a Dios por su generosidad, ¡ahora tenemos suficientes fondos para completar la remodelación de los baños de nuestra iglesia!
Tenga en cuenta que comenzaremos a remodelar los baños el miércoles 5 de julio para completar el proyecto para el otoño. La remediación de asbesto se llevará a cabo inicialmente asi como completamos la remediación de asbesto en el área principal durante el nuestro proyecto de iluminación. Nuestros contratistas sellarán las áreas afectadas para garantizar la seguridad en todos y evitar que los feligreses sufran daños durante este proceso. Las entradas al frente de la iglesia permanecerán abiertas durante la construcción.
En este momento, le pedimos que utilice los baños del PAC. Estamos emocionados de finalmente hacer mejoras en nuestros baños, y aunque la remodelación es un inconveniente, trae cambios. En las próximas semanas, busque representaciones en la iglesia y el sitio web que muestran el diseño de nuestros baños. Los mantendremos informados. Gracias a todos una vez más por su fe, contribuciones y esfuerzos para continuar mejorando nuestro hermoso espacio de adoración.
